John Butler Died aged 62 on the 5th December 2007. He was taken from his family suddenly after an heart attack following a circuation problem in his legs and feet. John had spent a few weeks in the Leeds LGI hospital after a by-pass opperation to replace a vein, he returned home and was on his road to recovery when he was taken form us.

John was a family man at heart and had 4 children his son John and his three daughters Tracy, Lindsay and myself Debbie. His wife Sandra had been with john for 41 years and 26 of those spent happily married. John loved all his family including his grandchildren and he had a few, there is jamie, dale and Pj. Shannon, scott and connor and my only daughter Hannah as well as twins on the way.

John and Sandra met 41 years ago when john was working on the speedway ride at the local fair ground when mam was just 16 they were childhood sweet hearts, and have never been apart since. Together they shared happy memories which include socalising with friends, dancing which he won trophies for as well as pottering around in his Garage.

John spent most of his time tinkering about with bit's and bobs and johns favourite place was in his garden he used to spend evey day out there he would of moved into the gargae if mam would of let him. It was in the garden that john met most of his friends, as he would talk to anyone passing by. He would always act the fool to make people laugh, he had a wicked sense of houmor and it didn't matter where he was he always had a joke to tell.

John is sadly missed by all of his family and there is not any word's that can replace what we have lost in John (dad) we all love you very much and always will From all of your children and your loving wife good night and sleep tight until we can be together again xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

God Saw You Getting Tired

A GOOD MAN AND MISSED BY US ALL.

God saw you getting tired

And a cure was not to be,

So He put his arms around you

And whispered, "Come to Me."

With tearful eyes we watched you

and saw you pass away.

And though we loved you dearly,

We could not make you stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,

hard-working hands at rest,

And although our hearts were broken

We know, God knows best.

I can't beleive it's been a year since you left us.

They say you can feel a presence around you like I have every now and then, a laugh, a cough and once I heard my name whispered late at night and the hair on the back of my neck standing up. I hope it was you.

I wish I could have done more that night and maybe you would still be here now.

I would thank you for giving me life and for saving it in my hour of need. If it hadn't been for you me and my son would have been gone years ago.

You're leaving has left a massive hole in everyones life.

Till we meet again I am sending you a giant hug and kiss.

LOVE ALWAYS
TRACY.
Sleep Tight.

hope you like dad lots of love from Debbie, paul and hannah xxxxx

Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.

Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message He is Dead.
Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public doves,
Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.

He was my North, my South, my East and West,
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last forever: I was wrong.

The stars are not wanted now; put out every one,
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun,
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the woods;
For nothing now can ever come to any good.

pennies from heaven x
pennies from heaven
Found a penny today
laying on the ground
but its not just a penny
this little coin I found

Pennies come from heaven
that's what I was always told
They say angels toss them down
oh, how I love this story

They say when an Angel misses you
They toss a penny down
sometimes just to cheer you up
To make a smile out of a frown

So, don't pass by that penny
When you're feeling blue
It may be a penny from Heaven
That your Dad tossed to you
